Socialization & Temperament

A powerful guardian breed needs a clear head and a confident temperament. From their first weeks with us, our litters go through Early Neurological Stimulation and structured environmental exposure, following the same puppy socialization practices we’ve refined over 20 years — so your Corso is ready to handle real-world situations with the calm stability the breed is known for.

Visiting Our Kennel

We welcome visits by appointment so you can meet the parents and see how our puppies are raised. Located in Southwest Ohio, we’re happy to arrange a visit or a video call if you’re out of state. Contact us to schedule. All pedigrees are verified at CaneCorsoPedigree.com.

Why Americana Cane Corso

As one of the breeders families trust, transparency is core to how we operate. We are an AKC-recognized breeder and run an Ohio Commercial Licensed Kennel, and every pedigree is independently verified at CaneCorsoPedigree.com.

Every Americana puppy goes home AKC-registered, tail docked, with the option of a breed-standard ear crop, and a full health record covering vaccinations and de-worming.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the puppy deposit and reservation process work?

A $500 deposit secures your place in line for an upcoming or current litter. Deposits are non-refundable but transferable to a future litter. We reserve first pick of every litter; remaining puppies are placed in the order deposits are received.

What's included with every Americana Cane Corso puppy?

AKC registration, ear cropping included, tail docking, a health guarantee, up-to-date vaccinations and de-worming.

Do you ship puppies, and how much does it cost?

Yes, we ship nationally from Cable, Ohio via flight nanny or buyer-arranged transport. Cost varies by distance. Contact us for shipping arrangements and pricing. Local pickup is also available.

What is your health guarantee?

Our puppies are covered by a health guarantee against hereditary conditions including hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, and congenital cardiac issues. Full details are on our Health Guarantee page.

When can I bring my puppy home?

Puppies go home at 8 weeks old.

Do you require spay/neuter, and does it affect the health guarantee?

Yes — the guarantee requires the dog remain intact until full physical maturity (minimum 24 months) unless a licensed veterinarian documents a medical reason. Early elective spay/neuter voids the guarantee.

What's the difference between a companion and breed/show prospect puppy?

Companion puppies are for families seeking a loyal pet and are not to be bred without written agreement from us. Breed/show prospects are sold with the expectation of contributing to the breed's future, and we stand behind their reproductive potential under documented conditions.

Do you offer support after I bring my puppy home?

Yes — we stay available for questions on training, health, and care throughout your dog's life.
